I dont look back as fondly on this time as I might Kamigawa or Ravnica , though I once again appreciate the nonlinear designs with some hindsight
The most expensive Pokemon TCG cards from Crown Zenith Pokemon TCG players have been obsessing over the Crown Zenith expansion ever since it dropped on January 20, 2023
In the case of the former, its because the best choices vary not only by color identity, but often by specific deck building limitations: Seismic Assault and many other red effects want you to play an extra-high land count, while a black deck with reanimation and Tortured Existence obviously cares about discarding creatures
For example, Mending Hands says, Prevent the next 4 damage that would be dealt to any target this turn and Lava Axe is a red sorcery that says Lava Axe deals 5 damage to target player or planeswalker. Suppose a Lava Axe controlled by a player who controls Fire Servant would deal 5 damage to a player who has cast Mending Hands targeting themselves
"Mega Ampharos ex" ( Mega Rising ) has Lightning Lancer, which deals 20 damage to random opposing Benched Pokmon three times in addition to dealing 100 to the opposing Active Pokmon
How could it not be successful
