Crimson Pink Silk Embroidered Antique Ottoman Wall Hanging: C19th Asia Arts and Crafts Frame originally destined to dress SantosDating from the mid 19th century, a lovely soft crimson pink silk satin wall hanging with off white silk stumpwork embroidery. Expertly hand embroidered, this hanging has echoes of Persian prayer rugs and has a pretty decorative floral border, and in the centre top, a hanging basket filled with a profusion of flowers which are spilling out down the sides and is finished with decorative tassels. This basket of flowers is echoed again at eh bottom
