Rounded face band with the thickened bottom in the Roman taste, 2. 3mm width. Stepped and expanded edge bezel with the center of pyramid form superficially imitating a gemstone and blatantly advertising the intentions of the wearer. Roman prostitutes were typically adolescents, largely slaves. Prostitution was practiced openly with brothels sometimes sharing doors with libraries.
