The top can be tilted upright to save space when not in use. The top is made from a single piece of mahogany, above a turned, gun barrel and gadrooned stem and three finely shaped legs and pad feet. The pedestal is from one piece of timber with the grain going the same direction all signs of a genuine 18th century piece. The
