Singles purchases are 100% efficient: you know exactly what you're paying and what you'll receive
It takes a bit of building around to make this work (you dont want to be combining cards like Gigantosaurus with Channel), but it gives you such a huge lead its easy to win the game following this card
Tezzeret the Seeker I remember Tezzeret the Seeker being a much more ubiquitous card than it is now, but I dont think its ever stopped being good
