On 10th November ANA Nursing attended the annual fundraising gala, Night of Ambition- hosted by Ambitious about Autism, the national charity for young people and children with autism and their long-standing corporate supporter, the TalkTalk Group.
We want to be the best home care provider in north London.
The charity established in 1997 helps to raise awareness and support for children and young people who suffer from autism, by providing young people with specialist support and education through their two learning facilities the TreeHouse School and Ambitious College. Making the ordinary possible for children and young people with autism and their families for nearly 20 years.
At this years Night of Ambition, a staggering £402,975 was raised in one night, in just under 4 hours. The money raised at this year’s gala bought TalkTalk’s’ overall fundraising total for the charity to £3 million. The event took place at Supernova, on Victoria Embankment Gardens and was attended by 450 leaders from across the telecom industry including Sir Charles Dunstone and Baroness Dido Harding of Winscombe, Chief Executive of TalkTalk Group.
Guest were encouraged to bid on a number of “money can’t buy’ auction items which included; a pair of signed running shoes from Usain Bolt, the world’s fastest man, a weeks holiday to a top resort in the Philippines; along with other lots including sports memorabilia signed by Jenson Button, Fernando Alonso and Andy Murray, and VIP tickets to see England Play at Wembley. We placed the winning bid on auction lot 5 a limited edition signed print by Louis one of the young people this charity supports.
